Position Title: Community Manager (Paid Internship)                Reports to: Sr. Marketing Manager  

Start Date: ASAP                                                                    Location: Austin, TX

Position Scope:  The community manager will support all communications across social media, email, PR, events and content. This role will serve as a first touch point for our company, and as such, requires excellent customer service, writing and time management skills. This person will also execute on influencer/ambassador shipments and regular communications, manage relationships with community partners and VIP customers and support all sampling efforts including DTC, sales and local events.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Support all social media and communication campaigns via posting, direct messaging, comments and tracking engagement.
  • Contribute to social copy and asset creation and management.
  • Respond to comments and customer messages and emails in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor and report on customer feedback and highlights.
  • Support planning and execution of local events.
  • Build relationships with our community at large.
  • Share support integrating new platform updates.
  • Support any and all needs of the business including local deliveries and general office/admin support.
  • Be a trusted and dedicated member of the team.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Current student or former graduate in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
  • Ability to interpret digital marketing metrics.
  • Knowledge of online marketing tools and channels.
  • Basic understanding of the consumer package goods environment, conservation &/or regenerative ag industry is required.
  • Strong planning, organizational, project management along with excellent interpersonal, written/oral communication and presentation skills,
  • Full competence working in Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn and Google email.
  • Mac OS and Microsoft Office suite with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Proven Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively; highly adaptable & resourceful
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in a hands-on, fast paced entrepreneurial environment.
  • Passion for an active health & wellness lifestyle.
  • Comfortable synthesizing and presenting ideas, concepts and information to management and leadership.
  • Must have the ability to be successful in conditions which include multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities, extended work schedules and demanding deadlines.
  • Ability to proactively execute on opportunities to add value while being scrappy in a start-up environment.
