Position Title: Manager/Director of FP&A

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as the Manager/Director of FP&A. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing financial reporting, modeling, strategic planning, and data analytics. Additionally, the candidate will be a key player in leading Force of Nature’s digital transformation across the company. A strong data science skillset is highly desirable for this role.
- Financial Reporting:
- Work Cross functionally to identify various departmental data and reporting needs to better understand the business and enable better decision making
- Develop and manage timely and accurate financial reports for various stakeholders.
- Implement and enhance reporting processes to provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.
- Financial Modeling and Sales Forecasting:
- Design and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and assumptions for accurate modeling.
- Collaborate with Sales and Demand Planner to build out accurate sales forecast across all channels and transform into Demand plan
- Strategic Planning:
- Work closely with executive leadership to develop and refine strategic financial plans.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
- Drive the development and execution of financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Data Analysis:
- Utilize advanced analytics to extract meaningful insights from financial and operational data.
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement data-driven approaches for performance measurement.
- Implement KPI review cadence for accountability across all departments
- Work closely with cross-functional partners to understand data requirements and implement solutions that align with reporting needs across marketing operations, and sales.
- Digital Transformation:
- Be a key player in Force of Nature’s digital transformation creating efficiency and visibility across the organization
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies through the use of digital tools including the assessment and implementation of an ERP
- Oversee the cleaning, validation, and normalization of financial data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Apply data science techniques to enhance financial forecasting, scenario analysis, and decision support.
- Lead initiatives to integrate diverse data sources, ensuring a comprehensive and cohesive dataset for analysis.
- Implement data visualization tools to communicate complex financial information effectively.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on reporting, modeling, and strategic planning.
- Strong coding skills with proficiency in languages such as Python, SQL, or similar is a plus.
- Experience in implementing and leading digital transformation initiatives within finance.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Finance or FP&A role
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
