Position Scope:
The Creative Director will be responsible for leading the creative direction, production and content strategy for our brand. With a focus on creative production, they will further shape the storytelling and visual identity of our company across multiple channels, creating engaging and compelling content that resonates with our target audience, reinforces our brand and its values and mission, and drives brand awareness and growth.
Objectives:
- Lead and oversee creative production across internal teams and external agency partners to ensure brand consistency and impactful storytelling across all customer touchpoints.
- Lead creative production and execution of all mission-related, educational content to inspire consumers to join a food revolution.
- Spearhead and manage content strategy for both small and large projects, harnessing brand design, copy, art, and digital technology.
- Collaborate with the marketing, sales, founders, and agency partners in developing creative and content plans that align with overall business and marketing objectives, analyzing results, and identifying opportunities. Work collaboratively to integrate creative campaigns and initiatives seamlessly across all customer touchpoints.
- Translate marketing campaign concepts and objectives across business units and channels into clear and motivating creative strategies.
- Balance project management with creative execution: You have honed the ability to ride the fine line between the practical tasks of project execution with the creation of quality deliverables.
- Use data-driven insights from brand tracking, market trends, and competitor analyses to refine creative strategies and ensure alignment with consumer needs.
- Support the creation of annual plans and related budgets and ensure financial responsibility by meeting requirements for ongoing forecasting and managing expenses.
- Be a cross-functional asset to support all channels maintaining branding strategy and consistency across multiple channels of the business.
- Oversee the maintenance and evolution of our brand's visual identity, ensuring that it reflects our values and resonates with our target audience. This includes managing brand guidelines, visual assets, and creative templates.

Campaign Development:

Generate innovative ideas for advertising campaigns, leveraging deep expertise that generate earned media and incorporate experiential elements, including out-of-home and digital activations.

Conceptualize and execute innovative campaigns that inspire and engage customers while driving measurable outcomes, such as increased awareness, customer loyalty, and sales.

Ensure consistency and quality across all creative outputs, from advertising to product design

Major Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end creative production process, including creative brief development, resource allocation, budget management, and project timelines. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet high-quality standards.
- Lead a cross-functional team, including designers, copywriters, agencies, and production partners, to create cohesive and impactful brand deliverables.
- Prioritize work and resources across engagements, based on short- and long-term needs, and develop schedules by collaborating with designers, copywriters, and production artists. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that inspires creativity and ensures the delivery of exceptional work.
- Conduct brainstorming sessions with the creative team & Director of Marketing, maintaining strategic thinking to develop innovative and actionable initiatives in a fiscally responsible manner.
- Review and approve art and copy developed by the team, ensuring that deliverables address marketing goals and challenges effectively.
- Oversee the development and execution of all creative concepts that align with our brand mission, values, and business objectives including packaging, advertising, website design, social media, retail, trade, and shopper marketing, and content marketing across all channels.
- Source & deliver trade and retail POS.
- Develop and oversee digital asset management systems to organize current and incoming brand assets effectively.
- Ongoing support of UX / UI refreshes of current website and potential future new site build.
- Develop and oversee social media strategies, including monthly calendar planning, content creation, and expansion onto new platforms to drive engagement and brand presence.
- Market research: Stay abreast of industry trends, consumer insights, and emerging technologies in the CPG space. Leverage market research to inform creative strategies and ensure our content remains relevant and engaging.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze the performance of creative campaigns and initiatives, utilizing data-driven insights to optimize future content strategies. Continuously evaluate and iterate creative concepts to drive maximum impact and return on investment.
- Spearhead digital asset management and organization of current assets along with managing and organizing new incoming assets.
- Lead the creative vision and execution of tradeshow experiences, managing concept development, logistics, vendor coordination, visual presentations, and post-event analysis to ensure alignment with brand strategy and business goals.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Design, Advertising, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), video editing software, and other relevant creative tools. Experience with DAM systems and project management tools (e.g., Asana) is a plus
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a creative leadership role, preferably within the CPG or consumer goods industry.
- Stellar communication, collaboration, and execution.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in developing and executing successful creative campaigns across multiple channels, with a focus on content creation.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), video editing software, and other relevant creative tools.
- Set Goals & Strategize Solutions: Thinking big and creating concrete steps to expand offerings and exceed goals comes naturally to you.
- Deep understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and cultural insights, with the ability to translate them into impactful creative concepts.
- A self-starter by nature, you have proven leadership skills with a strong track record of managing and inspiring cross-functional creative teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Unmatched supervision, research, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong planning, organizational, project management along with excellent interpersonal, written/oral communication and presentation skills.
- Mac OS and Microsoft Office suite with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proven Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively; highly adaptable & resourceful.
