Bison & Broccoli Over Jasmine Rice

Lean ground bison is seared until crispy, then glazed in Bachan’s Japanese BBQ Sauce for a fast teriyaki vibe. Charred broccoli and fluffy jasmine rice round out this protein-packed bowl that works as both a weeknight staple and buffet item.

Serves: 6 | Prep: 10 min | Cook: 25 min

Ingredients:

  • 2 packages Force of Nature Ground Bison
  • 2 Tbsp tallow
  • ½ cup Bachan’s Japanese BBQ Sauce (more to taste)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder · Kosher salt
  • 6 cups broccoli florets (from ~6 heads)
  • 2 cups uncooked jasmine rice
  • 4 green onions, sliced · 2 Tbsp sesame seeds

Preparation:

  1. Bison – Sear in tallow until browned and crispy. Season with salt and garlic powder, then glaze with Bachan’s; cook until sticky.
  2. Broccoli – Toss florets with oil, salt, pepper; grill or roast at 425 °F until charred-tender.
  3. Rice – Cook rice; fluff.
  4. Assemble – Bowl of bison, broccoli on top, finish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve with jasmine rice alongside.
