Job Summary:

The Retail Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role on our marketing team, responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive retail sales growth. This position will focus on increasing brand visibility, product awareness, and sales of Force of Nature meat products on the shelf at retail locations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the grocery retail landscape, a passion for sustainability, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to achieve sales and marketing goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Retail Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute retail marketing plans and campaigns designed to increase sales, product visibility, and brand awareness within grocery and food service channels.
  • In-Store Activation: Plan and oversee in-store marketing initiatives, including point-of-sale displays, signage, shelf talkers, and product placement strategies to boost visibility and sales.
  • Promotional Campaigns: Collaborate with the sales and brand teams to create and implement promotions, product demos, and events that drive consumer engagement, trial, and repeat purchases.
  • Collaborative Campaign Development: Work closely with the marketing team to align retail strategies with broader brand campaigns, ensuring that messaging and creative assets are consistent across all channels.
  • Product Launch Support: Lead marketing efforts to support new product launches in retail, including the development of go-to-market strategies, in-store materials, and promotional plans.
  • Brand Education: Serve as a brand ambassador, educating retail staff, consumers, and partners on Force of Nature’s regenerative agriculture mission and the nutritional benefits of our products.
  • Sales Enablement: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to support expansion into new retail accounts, driving initial product placement and building consumer demand.
  • Relationship Building: Partner with the sales team to maintain strong relationships with retail partners and work closely with buyers, category managers, marketing teams and in store teams to foster collaboration and ensure successful execution of marketing programs.
  • Trade Show Management: Plan, organize, and execute Force of Nature’s presence at key trade shows and industry events to showcase products, strengthen retail relationships, and drive brand awareness. This includes booth design, product sampling, and on-site activations.
  • Demo Program Management: Manage an effective in-store demo program to drive consumer trial, engagement, and conversion. Coordinate with retailers and demo staff to ensure seamless execution and impactful customer experiences.
  • Field Marketing Support: Manage field marketing efforts in key markets to build brand awareness around retail availability. Work with local teams to drive customers to stores and support retail partners through localized activations and events.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Analyze retail performance metrics, consumer insights, and sales data to evaluate the success of marketing initiatives and identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in retail marketing, preferably in the food industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful retail marketing campaigns.
  • Experience managing in-store demo programs and trade shows.
  • Strong understanding of the grocery retail landscape, including category management, merchandising, and promotional strategies.
  • Passion for sustainability, regenerative agriculture, and Force of Nature’s mission.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve marketing performance
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support retail marketing efforts, demos, trade shows, and field marketing events.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective marketing strategies that align with overall business goals, specifically for B2B accounts.
  • Proven management skills with experience in motivating cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Ability to manage budgets, analyze sales data, and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities and deliver results against KPI’s.
  • Expected travel < 10%
