Job Summary:

The trade and retail marketing manager is responsible for leading and managing trade and retail marketing strategies and initiatives. This position focuses on building and scaling strategies that drive brand visibility and maximize sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign and Program Management: Direct all retail and shopper marketing campaigns, designing innovative strategies that boost customer engagement and drive sales.
  • Sales Support: Create and distribute effective sell-in and sell-through assets to assist the sales team in promoting our products to retailers and distributors.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain robust relationships with key account B2B marketing teams to foster collaboration and enhance marketing efforts.
  • Trade Show Management: Plan, organize, and execute targeted trade shows and retail events to maximize brand exposure and product visibility. Handle all event logistics, including booth design, staffing, and post-event follow-up.
  • Demo Program Oversight: Lead the demo program, ensuring that product demonstrations at events and retail locations are executed flawlessly.
  • Field Marketing Support: Manage relevant field marketing activities to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with overall brand strategies and objectives.
  • Research and Insights. Collaborate with marketing, sales and finance to research & analyze results to understand unique customer and market trends, and campaign performance to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Evaluate the success of marketing activities and trade shows, providing comprehensive reports to senior management and using insights to refine marketing strategies.
  • Budget Management: Manage the trade & retail marketing budget allocated, ensuring optimal resource allocation
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Ability to develop and implement effective marketing strategies that align with overall business goals, specifically for B2B accounts.
  • Relationship Management: Strong skills in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including cross functional teams, external partners and B2B customers.
  • Sales and Marketing Expertise: Deep understanding of sales processes and marketing principles, with the ability to drive sales growth through innovative marketing initiatives.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and influence decision-makers.
  • Team Management: Proven management skills with experience in motivating cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Financial Acumen: Ability to manage budgets, analyze sales data, and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
  • Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Agility in adapting to changing market conditions and finding creative solutions to business challenges.
  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with digital marketing tools, project management software, and GoogleSuite.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities and deliver results against KPI’s.
  • A passion for health and sustainability.
  • Expected travel < 10%
