Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of E-Commerce to lead and grow our online sales channel. The ideal candidate will be a game-changer with a proven track record in e-commerce, with a deep understanding of digital marketing, sales strategies, and online customer experience. This leader will set new standards for our e-commerce channel via innovative strategies to unlock our next phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Own and manage the e-commerce channel and its ecosystem, including the customer experience and journey, the backend systems, and operations.
  2. Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to increase online sales and brand awareness.
  3. Manage and optimize the online store, ensuring a seamless and engaging shopping experience for customers.
  4. Lead digital growth marketing efforts, including paid and organic, SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and content strategy.
  5. Analyze market trends and customer data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  6. Collaborate with the marketing, sales, operations, and product teams to align e-commerce strategies with overall company objectives.
  7. Oversee the management of e-commerce platforms, website design, and user experience (UX) optimization.
  8. Monitor and report on e-commerce metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  9. Develop and manage the e-commerce budget, ensuring cost-effective strategies and ROI optimization.
  10. Stay updated with the latest e-commerce technologies and best practices, implementing innovative solutions where appropriate.
  11. Other duties as assigned. 


  • Proven experience in scaling an e-commerce business.
  • Strong understanding of digital/growth marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms, website design, and analytics tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce, with a focus on strategy and growth.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bonus: experience in the perishables category and/or expensive and heavy products
